Could you build a one-match fire after a rainy day?  How about building a small shelter out of whatever is around?  Can you lash a small table?  Cook a baked Alaska over an open fire?  If you were a Betsey Cox camper, you could!!  On site, our outdoor skills staff provides training for campers in outdoor safety, fire building, outdoor cooking (often with our home-grown ingredients), knot tying and lashing. First aid for hikers and campers is an important aspect of this program.
