The Arts and Crafts cabin, conveniently located in the center of camp, is home to all manner of arts and crafts. Headed by a professional artist, the A and C staff offer girls opportunities to learn or perfect the drawing skills, their painting skills, or to engage in crafts projects. Parents should expect to be offered a unique collection of home made gifts when they collect their daughters at the end of a session. And those lucky enough to bring home a painting will be amazed at the quality!
In the crafts cabin, I always had the sense that I could make anything. Growing up in the crafts cabin, first as a camper, then a muggie, then a Staff, I got the chance to work with campers to create something they never thought was possible. Their boundless creativity and unfailing determination to create never failed to inspire me in my own life to work to realize my wildest dreams.
