The Betsey Cox waterfront is on Burr Pond, a small Vermont lake. We share the pond with Camp Sangamon and just a few private cottages across the water. The pond is spring fed with cooling waters all summer long. It is nestled in the foothills of Vermont’s green mountains and feels miles away from the bustle of town.
Developing my swimming skills and playing in the water are some of my favorite memories of all times. Not only have I learned countless water skills at the pond, my time there has also allowed my leadership and communication skills to develop as well. The intensely wonderful friendships I have made at camp I owe to the pond, for allowing me to branch out of my comfort zone in an area where I felt totally myself.
